Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient food preparation, service, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage staff schedules, assign tasks, and supervise team members to maintain high standards of service and food quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and balancing registers.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures across all areas of the restaurant.
- Support inventory control efforts by monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering, and minimizing waste.
- Train new staff members and provide ongoing training & development to enhance team skills in food production, customer service, and safety protocols.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience for all customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision, ideally within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous management or assistant manager experience.
- Excellent communication skills for interviewing, staff training, and customer interactions.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and hospitality management.
