Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems (rooftop units, split systems, package units, chillers, air handlers, exhaust fans, etc.).
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues.
- Handle 24/7 emergency service calls as part of a rotating on-call schedule. Install or replace HVAC components and systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records, communicate findings to customers and office staff professionally.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, EPA regulations, and local codes.
- Keep company vehicle, tools, and work area clean and organized.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred. EPA Universal Certification required.
- Texas TDLR ACR Technician License (or ability to obtain).
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and provide excellent customer service.
- Physical ability to lift moderate loads, work at heights, and in various conditions (rooftops, mechanical rooms, etc.).
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Own basic hand tools; company provides specialized tools and vehicle.
