Electrical Service Technician
Location: Woonsocket, RI
Job Type: Full-Time
Travel: 50–70% Domestic Travel
Position Summary
Seeking a hands-on Electrical Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and traveling to support equipment installations, startups, and service calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and start up industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, control panels, and industrial controls
- Perform mechanical adjustments and identify root causes of equipment issues
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Provide on-site technical support and basic operator training
- Complete service reports and communicate follow-up recommendations
Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, and control systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to travel 50–70% domestically
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting or programming (Allen-Bradley or Siemens)
- Previous field service experience
- Background working with industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, or automated systems

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
