Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
- Utilize advanced quality management tools and systems, including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards, to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform detailed quality audits across manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to FDA regulations, HACCP protocols, CGMP guidelines, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, inspection results, and process performance to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for precise dimensional verification of complex parts.
- Document inspection findings accurately in quality records and reports, ensuring traceability and compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process deviations and recommending effective solutions to enhance product quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or precast manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, and CGMP standards.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures for precision measuring instruments and the use of coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or issues promptly.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions effectively.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
