About FITNATION ATHLETICS
Fitnation Athletics is a new fitness facility built around premium equipment, exceptional service, and a strong community atmosphere. We are looking for friendly, dependable, responsible, organized and energetic Front Desk Associates who will help create a welcoming experience for every member and guest.
Position Overview
As a Front Desk Associate, you will be one of the first people members see when they enter the gym. You will be responsible for greeting members, answering questions, assisting with memberships, maintaining a clean and organized front-desk area, and helping the facility operate smoothly.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, professional, organized, and comfortable speaking with new people. Previous customer-service or sales experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check members into the facility and assist with account questions
- Provide tours and explain membership options to prospective members
- Assist with membership enrollment and lead follow-up
- Answer telephone calls, and general inquiries
- Process payments and complete basic point-of-sale transactions
- Keep the front desk, lobby, retail, and beverage areas clean and organized
- Restock merchandise, beverages, and front-desk supplies
- Monitor the facility and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns
- Help enforce gym policies in a respectful and professional manner
- Complete opening or closing duties based on the assigned shift
- Support gym events, promotions, and member-engagement activities
- Provide an excellent experience during every member interaction
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable using computers and learning membership-management software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, fitness, or sales is preferred
- Passionate for health and fitness
- CPR/AED certification is preferred or must be obtained after hiring
Schedule Requirements
Applicants should have flexible availability. Morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required. Please include your general availability when applying.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain standing or walking for portions of the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Ability to perform light cleaning and restocking duties
