Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our medical group practice. This is not a remote position,. The ideal candidate is highly organized, and experienced in managing the full revenue cycle independently.

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing/collections experience
- Demonstrated success in a previous billing role
- Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Key Responsibilities
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the revenue cycle, including:
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting clean claims
- Addressing and resolving rejected claims promptly
- Investigating denied claims and managing the appeal process
- Accurate payment posting and reconciliation
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Managing monthly patient statement processes
- Following up with patients on outstanding balances
- Working knowledge of HMO, PPO, EPO, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other government plans
Attention to detail is essential.

- Must be a strong team player
- Experience with Medisoft is a plus
