Job Summary
The Hospice Clinical Director is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the hospice agency. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in hospice nursing with progressive management experience. Will consider a strong Hospice RN who is ready to take on more of a leadership role with a support system available. The Hospice Clinical Director will maintain quality standards and implement best practices to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. This role requires exceptional the ability to foster a collaborative environment among clinical staff.
This is an Interim position with possible conversion to permanent and is possible to work hybrid. (Home and Office)
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies and procedures in alignment with requirements.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of clinical staff.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
- Monitor clinical operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and staff to promote a positive experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years Hospice RN Case Management experience with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
