Loan Officer III – Bastrop, TX
Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a well-established community bank in Bastrop, TX.
Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Loan Officer III with 5–6 years of commercial lending experience and a strong background in community banking. Due to the competitive banking market, candidates must have previous community banking experience and a proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage new and existing lending relationships
- Interview loan applicants and evaluate creditworthiness
- Make lending decisions within established authority
- Cross-sell banking products and services
- Ensure loan compliance and portfolio quality
- Provide exceptional customer service and financial guidance
Qualifications:
- 5–6 years of commercial lending experience required
- Community banking experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent education and experience)
- NMLS registration (or ability to maintain registration)
- Strong communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
This position is salaried (no commission). After a year of employment, employees are eligible to receive a bonus at the end of the year based on their performance.
