As a Housing Supervisor, you play a key role in supporting residents, guiding care teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day clinical and operational oversight throughout the community.
What You’ll Do (Your Leadership Impact)
Lead & Support the Care Team
Provide leadership, coaching, and support to caregivers and medication aides.
Assist with team member orientation, training, mentoring, and ongoing education.
Promote positive teamwork, professionalism, and strong communication across all shifts.
Assist with scheduling, staffing support, and shift coverage needs.
Support leadership with performance coaching, investigations, and team accountability as needed.
Serve as a role model by demonstrating dependable attendance, professionalism, and compassionate care.
Ensure Exceptional Resident Care
Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and individualized care needs as needed.
Assist with resident assessments, service plans, care conferences, and ongoing care coordination.
Monitor resident wellbeing and communicate changes in condition to leadership, providers, and families.
Ensure resident documentation, eMARs, and charting are completed accurately and timely.
Promote resident independence, dignity, privacy, and quality of life.
Respond to emergencies and resident concerns promptly and professionally.
Promote Compliance & Community Excellence
Assist with medication cart audits, chart audits, and regulatory compliance checks.
Ensure the community remains safe, organized, and “tour ready” throughout each shift.
Follow all OSHA, state, federal, and community policies and procedures.
Assist with survey readiness and participate in inspections or quality improvement initiatives.
Support communication and coordination with third-party healthcare providers and ancillary services.
Participate in leadership meetings, trainings, and on-call responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team
Credentials & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Medication Aide certification required per state guidelines.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in senior living, long-term care, or geriatric care preferred.
Leadership or Resident Care Coordinator experience preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required per state guidelines.
Knowledge of assisted living regulations and resident care practices preferred.

Physical & Schedule Requirements
Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting residents or team members as needed.
Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call support.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
