The Material Handler provides support for HPP by moving product from Warehouse and HPP production areas.
Major tasks, responsibilities, and key accountabilities:

Utilize a manual pallet jack to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materials

Use a forklift to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materials

Performing inventory counts for accuracy and discrepancies
-
Shipping and receiving duties as assigned

Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and putaway
-
Safe and efficient operation of the vehicle
-
Perform order filler and checker duties
-
Maintain equipment and perform pre-operation checks according to policy
-
Following health, safety, and cleanliness standards
-
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma/GED
-
6 months MHE/stand up forklift experience preferred

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
-
Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems
-
Refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to perform basic mental math
-
Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write)

Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
- This job operates in a wet and cold environment located within a manufacturing facility. The average temperature is 32 degrees.
- This position requires the ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours shifts and perform repetitive bending, twisting and lifting. It requires the ability to lift 45 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. rarely.
