Waters Edge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Activity Assistant to join our Life Enrichment Team. This unique opportunity allows you to make a difference with our residents, supporting their emotional well-being and enhancing their daily lives through meaningful engagement.
This is a Part-Time position working 9:00AM- 5: 00PM Every Weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months to a year experience working with memory care/ dementia
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
Job Responsibilities:
- Help plan and lead recreational activities and events
- Encourage resident participation to promote mental and emotional wellness
- Support individualized activity programs
- Assist with calendar creation and setup of daily programs
