Overview: The Registered Nurse provides nursing duties in Ambulatory Surgery Center and Pain Management Office.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting and scrubbing with interventional vascular, interventional radiology and interventional pain procedures.
- Administering IV sedation for procedures under physician supervision.
- Monitoring patients during procedures.
- Recovering patients post-procedure and monitoring vital signs.
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms with the necessary instruments for your patients, including preparation and maintenance of supplies and equipment for treatments.
- Maintaining inventory of procedure room and ordering necessary supplies.
- Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments for patients.
- Communicate with collaborating physicians, nurses, and hospitals to coordinate patient care.
- You will train at our Union City, TN office and Fulton, KY ASC.
Qualifications:
- A Degree from an accredited Nursing Program is required.
- Must possess and maintain a current license in Tennessee as a Registered Nurse.
- Maintains current CPR certification.
- Applicant must have excellent communication skills and a demonstrated high level of clinical excellence.
Job Expectations:
For this position, we are looking for a registered nurse who is willing to work 4- 10 hour days at our Union City, TN and Fulton, KY locations who is willing to travel to our Olive Branch, MS location one day per week.
**Mileage reimbursement for traveling to Olive Branch, MS location.
