Join a growing holistic telepsychiatry practice as a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC)! You will deliver comprehensive mental health care through secure online telehealth platforms, empowering patients to achieve mental wellness from the comfort of their homes. This 1099 independent contractor position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a flexible, technology-driven environment that values your clinical skills and dedication. There is the possibility of a pathway to a W2 position after you build your caseload.
Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments via telehealth, including patient history, mental status examinations, and risk evaluations.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with state regulations and professional standards of care.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate medication management, psychotherapy, and an evidence-based holistic approach.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients on mental health conditions, medication use, coping skills, and self-care techniques.
- Document all clinical encounters professionally and accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Skills
- Proven experience working with diverse populations across outpatient settings with telehealth experience preferred.
- Ability to provide a nonjudgmental, safe space for patients and provide individualized, tailored treatment plans.
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications, psychopharmacology, lab interpretation, and medication administration protocols.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as CharmEHR, Spruce, and Google Suite preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform detailed patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using physiology knowledge and clinical research insights.
- An understanding of appropriate delegation as per the board of nursing standards for unlicensed personnel (our care coordinators).
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and ensure secure medical documentation.
- Experience and continuing education in at least one evidence-based psychotherapy modality preferred.
- Prior work experience or specialized training with a niche population is a plus.
- Must type 50 WPM.

- We can promote and pay for mental health related blog posts that you write to increase your online visibility as a provider. We help prepare partner newsletters and use paid ads on Google, social media, and other various marketing platforms.
- We provide biweekly payments of invoices. You don't have to wait for insurance to reimburse us for us to pay you. We just require the signed documentation of the service provided.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of PMHNP-BC professional work experience.
- You must have an active PMHNP license and at least one active DEA license in your state of residence. Additional PMHNP licenses in other full practice states preferred.
- You must be available for at least 16 open clinical hours per week. You have flexibility over which days and what time of the day you prefer to work.
- You must commit to a one year contract since we invest in marketing specifically for you. The more availability that you offer and the sooner you receive reviews, the quicker you can build your caseload.
Pay: Up to $150.00 per hour
