Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Construction Laborers on our Asphalt Paving crew and Excavating crew. In this role, you will be an essential part of our construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety.
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines on the job site.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is essential.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
