Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide high-quality, personalized care to our client in their home in Fairburn, Georgia, from 10 am-5 pm every other weekend. The ideal candidate MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, MUST HAVE CURRENT CPR & FIRST AID (COMPLETED IN CLASS, NOT ONLINE), MUST HAVE CURRENT TB, AND A BACKGROUND CHECK WILL BE CONDUCTED.
Duties
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts if needed.
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure patient health and safety.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to the client.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CNA or PCA working with patients who may have dementia or mental disability.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to complete medical documentation accurately and efficiently, such as the Caregiver's Time and Activity Record Sheet.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of relevant training programs is required. PCA-GACCP test

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
