Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and self-directed General Foreman with deep expertise in Structural Concrete, Earthwork, and/or Underground construction to lead field operations across multiple concurrent projects. In this high-autonomy role, you will direct Crew Leads across active jobsites, provide oversight and mentorship to Foremen, and serve as the senior field presence when the Superintendent cannot be on-site. You will be trusted to triage competing priorities, resolve issues independently, and escalate only when necessary. This position is for someone who has already proven they can run a job — and can run several at once.

Responsibilities
- Direct Crew Leads and/or Foremen across multiple active jobsites simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and safety protocols
- Coordinate jobsite scheduling and sequencing across multiple projects in collaboration with the Superintendents/PMs
- Coordinate with the Procurement Manager on advanced material orders across active projects
- Own safety program compliance across all assigned sites; conduct toolbox talks and inspections and ensure 100% PPE compliance at all times
- Read and interpret full plan sets including civil and structurals; identify conflicts and flag them proactively
- Monitor project progress against schedules across multiple sites; adjust workflows and crew deployment as needed to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Track and report on labor, material, and equipment across assigned projects
- Ensure proper execution of structural concrete, earthwork, and/or underground infrastructure scopes
- Foster a team-oriented field culture by mentoring Foremen and Crew Leads, supporting performance accountability, and driving continuous improvement
Necessary Experience & Qualifications
- Proven track record directing multiple crews or jobsites simultaneously with minimal oversight
- Extensive field experience with a thorough understanding of construction management principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret full plan sets including grades, elevations, structural plans, and details
- Ability to obtain PG&E OQ certifications
- Ability to walk on uneven terrain and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to get First Aid/CPR Certified if not already
- Comfortable utilizing technology in the field and office — smartphone, tablet, and construction management software (Bluebeam or similar) for documentation, plan mark ups, reporting, and communication
- Strong documentation skills
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification
- Competent Person certification for excavation/trenching
- First Aid/CPR certified
- Ability to operate heavy equipment a plus
- Spanish speaking a plus
MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: STRUCTURAL CONCRETE, EARTHWORK, OR UNDERGROUND UTILITIES. NO OTHER TRADES CONSIDERED.
Compensation
- Base Pay: $50+/hr, commensurate with experience
- Annual Bonus: Awarded at company discretion
