Nutrishare is looking for a Warehouse Pharmacy Technician to join our Elk Grove Team for a Temporary 6 month position. If you are looking for an opportunity to gain experience as a Pharmacy Technician this is the opportunity for you!
Hours: M-F This will be a variable schedule from 7am-8pm.
Pay: DOE $22/hr-$24/hr
Duration: 6 month temporary role
In this role you will assist in maintaining the warehouse, and essential duties as described below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Receives, unpacks, and stocks medication and supplies, and forwards paperwork to appropriate individual(s).
- Process all inbound/outbound packages in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
- Seals TPN in preparation for delivery to consumers.
- Construct shipping boxes and restock shipping materials.
- Pulls supplies and fills prescriptions (if licensed as a pharmacy technician or intern pharmacist), prepares consumer’s orders for shipment.
- Assist Warehouse Assistant with coordination and arrangement with appropriate couriers on shipments. This includes tracking of daily shipments to ensure timely delivery to consumers.
- Maintenance of pump returns for QA, cleaning, and repair.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the warehouse by performing the following:
- Breakdown of cardboard
- Clean tote bins, mix room trash cans, work area table, refrigerators, and freezers.
- Sweep warehouse floor.
- Keep aisle ways clear at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Empty trash cans from pharmacy office and warehouse.
- Count and inspect returns.
- Work with lab personnel to properly restock lab and document quantities accurately on lab transfer sheet.
- Make deliveries to and from FedEx/UPS drop center and pick up of medications/supplies from drug wholesaler, as needed.
- Remove expired products from shelves as necessary and notify the Purchaser so inventory adjustments can be made.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Assists Warehouse assistant, as needed, in other duties.
- Assists pharmacy personnel as appropriate.
- Other duties may be assigned at any time via verbal or written instructions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or 6 months job experience.
- Pharmacy Technician Certified.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A current pharmacy technician license is required, depending on the employee’s work location.
