We are sourcing for a Pool Service Tech for a company located in Kenvil, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently while managing service routes and customer needs.
Responsibilities of the Pool Service Tech:
- Maintain swimming pools to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Test and balance pool water chemistry
- Add required chemicals and treatments based on usage and environmental conditions
- Clean pool surfaces and maintain overall pool appearance
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pool equipment as needed
- Identify equipment wear and recommend replacement parts or upgrades
- Detect possible pool leaks and assist with repair recommendations
- Complete pool winterizing procedures to prevent seasonal damage
- Maintain accurate service records, chemical readings, and before/after documentation
- Keep the company vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and maintained
- Follow all company safety procedures and promote safe work practices
- Provide support and guidance to assistants or team members as needed
Benefits of the Pool Service Tech:
- Direct Hire position
- Pay rate $25-$35 , based on experience
- Start time 8 am, overtime available.
Requirements of the Pool Service Tech:
- Minimum 3 years of pool service experience required
- Valid and active driver’s license
- Knowledge of pool circulation systems, chemicals, and chemical handling
- Experience operating and maintaining pool equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
