Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food and drinks promptly using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently.
- Ensure all food handling and serving procedures comply with food safety regulations to guarantee guest safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations while adhering to health standards in food industry environments.
- Assist in catering events, banquets, or nightclub service as needed, demonstrating flexibility across different hospitality settings.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in nightlife or hospitality environments such as nightclubs or banquet halls.
