Job Overview
As a PCT on the Cardiac Neuro Unit, you’ll support nurses in caring for cardiac, neuro, medical‑surgical, and ICU stepdown patients who require close monitoring. You’ll assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and provide compassionate bedside care, including support for patients nearing the end of life. Your steady presence and attention to detail help ensure patients receive safe, high‑quality care.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with bathing, oral care, toileting, and linens
- Support safe mobility, repositioning, and transfers
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Document patient information accurately
- This role includes exposure to bodily fluids and sensitive patient situations
- Safely lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
About the Cardiac Neuro Unit
The Cardiac Neuro Unit is a 19‑bed blended‑scope unit caring for cardiac, neuro, and ICU stepdown patients, with 8 beds designated for stepdown. The team cares for complex patients who require close monitoring. The unit offers a strong teamwork culture focused on safe, high‑quality care.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within six months of hire
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of required PCT classes for the unit
