Skilled Carpenter
Moynihan Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Skilled Carpenter to join our team.
We are a small, professional construction company that takes pride in quality craftsmanship, strong client relationships, and attention to detail. Our projects include remodeling, finish carpentry, cabinetry, framing, additions, window and door replacement, and custom residential work throughout San Diego County. Moynihan Construction is the place where working hard feels like having fun - most of the time.

Position Details
- Full-time
- 30–40 hours per week
- Hourly Pay: $35–$48 per hour, depending on experience.
- Work locations primarily throughout San Diego County
- Flexible schedule depending on project needs
What You’ll Do
- Perform finish carpentry, framing, trim, cabinetry, and general remodeling work
- Read and interpret plans, measurements, and specifications
- Install cabinetry, doors, windows, molding, baseboards, finish materials, complete demolition, framing, drywall, and punch-list work as needed.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job sites, both indoor and outdoor
- Job site preparation and final clean up
- Work independently and alongside other team members to complete projects on schedule
- Communicate professionally with team members, subcontractors, and homeowners
Qualifications
- 5+ years of carpentry experience required
- Strong knowledge of residential remodeling and finish carpentry
- Ability to read plans and take accurate measurements
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
- Dependable, punctual, professional(ish) and follows instructions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

- Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge preferred
