Position Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing a high level of client engagement from start to finish, taking a lead role in defining a successful relationship with client that will exceed their expectations. This role will work with the replenishment, analytical, & subject matter experts to deliver recommendations to the client to help increase sales, distribution, market penetration and profitability
Key Responsibilities

Point person for each client and/or project.

Responsible for managing the client engagement from start to finish, taking a lead role in defining the project approach, deliverables, & timetable, and working with analytical team, replenishment team, & industry experts as needed.

Strong Analytical skills and with experience in utilizing Nielsen data with the ability to disseminate create impactful stories and recommendations to our clients that tie to strategy.

Strong focus on quality assurance and accuracy of data and information that is provided to the client.

Provide critical thinking to guide the team toward developing the client solution.

Manage relationships and communication with retailers and vendors.

Work with the team to identify barriers or obstacles to success and work to overcome them proactively.

Establish an ongoing communication mechanism to share project status, results & insights throughout the broader MPG team (conference calls, meetings, email).

Demonstrate restless curiosity to identify new business and/or clients.

Serve as a contributor in projects outside of existing clients.

Support client in sample delivery as needed.
Skills & Experience
Required
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
-
5+ years of CPG sales, ecommerce account management, or digital commerce experience, with at least 3 years directly managing the Amazon channel.

Deep working knowledge of both 1P (Vendor Central) and 3P (Seller Central) models..

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into compelling stories and strategic actions.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred

4 year degree.
-
5+ years of selling or buying experience with Drug industry/Sanofi.

Proficient in data and sales story telling.

Effective and efficient project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, & keep projects moving.

Strong communication skills.

Robust knowledge of consumer products industry & category, brand, & retail strategies
Ability to listen, understand, & resolve competing priorities.
Compensation
The expected base salary range for this position is $75,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and other compensation programs.
