We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to join our dynamic property management team. Responsibilities
- Assist in leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease or rental agreements
- Support resident relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and maintaining high levels of customer service
- Manage administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records using property management tools like Yardi and OneSite
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution while maintaining quality standards
- Support compliance with Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8, and other legal requirements
- Help oversee lease renewals, rent collection, and budgeting processes to ensure financial health of the community
- Collaborate with team members to manage property operations effectively and uphold company standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, with familiarity using Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC programs, and Section 8 housing policies
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person
- Experience managing lease or rental agreements and understanding contracts within a property management context
- Demonstrated conflict management abilities and negotiation skills to handle resident concerns professionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily administrative tasks
- Prior experience in facilities management or property maintenance coordination is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $51,516.41 - $62,041.27 per year
