Phelps Elementary SchoolVacancy2026-27 School YearSchool Adjustment Counselor*Maintain a caseload of IEP, 504, and general education students *Provide individual and group therapeutic counseling to students*Meet with students and families to address social and emotional issues that impact education*Consult with teachers and staff to provide social-emotional learning within the classroom*Provide crisis intervention services*Participate in the IEP and/or 504 process*Collaborate with the Principal, School Psychologist, and Behaviorist as part of the Behavior Support Team*Work as a team member with assistant principal for crisis and grade level support*Serve as a liaison between DCF and the school*Make referrals to mental health and other community resources*Massachusetts DESE School Adjustment Counselor licensure required*LMHC/LICSW licensure preferred
