LINE COOK / PREP COOK
We are looking for a dependable Line Cook / Prep Cook for our food truck and event catering team.
This is not a slow kitchen job. This is fast paced, high volume, physical work. You must be able to prep, cook, clean, load, unload, set up, break down, and jump in wherever needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prep proteins, rice, noodles, sauces, vegetables, and toppings
- Cook and assemble menu items during busy service
- Follow recipes and portion standards
- Keep food quality consistent
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow food safety, labeling, and sanitation standards
- Help with loading, unloading, setup, and breakdown
- Work calmly and quickly during rushes
REQUIREMENTS
- Kitchen, catering, or food truck experience preferred
- Must be reliable and on time
- Must work clean and follow directions
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be available for weekends, festivals, and events
- Reliable transportation required
- California Food Handler Card required
Pay depends on experience.
