CityPress is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Print Operator to join our team. As a Digital Print Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our print production processes. Pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain digital printing equipment to produce high-quality prints according to job specifications.
- Set-up jobs for output to press.
- Monitor print jobs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the printing process.
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Digital Print Operator and/or or similar role in a printing company.
- In-depth knowledge of digital printing processes and equipment.
- Ability to interpret and follow job specifications and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality prints.
- Able to work overtime as needed.
- Able to lift 40-60 lbs consistently.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Able to provide references.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining digital printing equipment.
- Familiarity with graphic design software and file preparation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
