Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead the daily operations of our vibrant indoor playground facility. Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the indoor playground, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high safety standards
- Oversee inventory management including supplies, toys, and equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive experience for children and parents alike
- Coordinate marketing efforts to promote special events, birthday parties, and seasonal activities to boost attendance
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions using POS systems, manage cash handling procedures, and perform bookkeeping tasks
Experience
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, or entertainment environments with a focus on team management
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Proven ability to handle cash handling, payroll processing, inventory control, and retail math calculations
- Experience in recruiting, employee orientation, training & development to foster a motivated team atmosphere
- Skilled in managing budgets, pricing strategies, merchandising, and store management operations
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with effective time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, purchasing procedures, marketing initiatives, and basic bookkeeping practices
