Apex Commercial Janitorial Solutions LLC in Dothan, AL is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Floor Technician Supervisor to lead and oversee the daily operations of the floor maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in floor care, strong leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The supervisor will manage a team of technicians, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety in all areas of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of floor technicians, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
- Assign daily responsibilities to team members, monitoring work progress and providing guidance when needed.
- Conduct performance evaluations and recommend improvements to optimize workflow.
- Coordinate and perform deep cleaning tasks, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning, as required.
- Ensure floor surfaces are free of debris, stains, and hazards, maintaining a clean, safe environment for all employees and visitors.
- Maintain stock levels of floor cleaning and maintenance supplies, ordering new products when necessary.
- Track and manage equipment, ensuring it is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations in all floor maintenance operations.
- Implement and monitor safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Address safety hazards and coordinate repairs when necessary to prevent accidents or damage.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess the quality of floor maintenance and cleaning.
- Maintain records of floor maintenance activities, including cleaning schedules, repair reports, and inventory logs.
- Report any facility maintenance issues or concerns to upper management promptly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees or management with floor maintenance needs.
- Ensure that all requests are addressed promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in floor maintenance or custodial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of floor cleaning and maintenance techniques, materials, and equipment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of safety protocols and experience using floor care chemicals and machinery.
- Valid driver’s license
