What You'll Do
As a Delivery & Appliance Installation Specialist, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by safely delivering, installing, and demonstrating major home appliances.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck while following all DOT and company safety procedures.
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections, including checking fluids, lights, tires, lift gates, and equipment.
- Deliver, install, and level residential appliances including:
- Refrigerators
- Washers and dryers
- Ranges
- Dishwashers
- Freezers
- Other major household appliances
- Install appliances according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
- Test all installed appliances to verify proper operation before leaving the customer's home.
- Educate customers on the safe operation and basic care of their new appliances.
- Protect customers' homes during delivery and installation.
- Remove all packaging materials and leave each installation area clean and organized.
- Document deliveries using our dispatch and routing software by taking photos and completing detailed notes.
- Communicate any delivery or installation concerns with the Delivery Manager in real time.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service on every stop.
- Work closely with dispatch, warehouse staff, and service teams to ensure successful deliveries.

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy appliances (team lifting required when appropriate)

- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow installation procedures
No appliance installation experience? We provide paid, hands-on training for motivated individuals who are ready to learn. If you have basic hand tools, basic electrical/plumbing knowledge, a good work ethic and a positive attitude, we can teach you the rest!
