Responsibilities
- Safely operate a school bus by adhering to all traffic laws and transportation safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical readiness before each shift.
- Follow emergency response procedures for transportation incidents and respond quickly to traffic changes or road hazards.
- Maintain discipline and ensure passenger safety through effective behavior management and communication skills.
- Complete all required documentation accurately, including trip logs, incident reports, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate clearly with passengers and team members to coordinate routes and address any issues promptly.
Experience
- CDL required
- Ability to complete background check and remain VIRTUS compliant is required
