American Pump & Drilling is hiring a full-time 03 Pump & Irrigation Installer Trainee to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in a hands-on career in the water well, pump, irrigation, plumbing, electrical, and construction industries.
Whether you have experience in construction, mechanical repair, plumbing, electrical work, irrigation, landscaping, HVAC, or are simply mechanically inclined, we will provide on-the-job training to help you build a rewarding career.

What You'll Do
As a Pump & Irrigation Installer Trainee, you'll work alongside experienced technicians installing, servicing, and repairing:
- Residential and commercial well pump systems
- Pressure tanks and booster pump systems
- Irrigation pumps and controls
- Water filtration and water treatment equipment
- Pump motors, controls, pressure switches, and electrical components
- Well system accessories and related equipment
Additional responsibilities include:
- Assisting with troubleshooting and repair of water well systems
- Learning electrical diagnostics under Washington State 03 specialty requirements
- Reading work orders and documenting completed work
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly
- Ability to work in confined spaces, on uneven terrain, and in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently after training
