We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and plumbing maintenance and repair, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, requiring a blend of technical skills and customer service orientation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and plumbing systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for testing electrical circuits and components.
- Supervise maintenance staff when necessary, providing leadership and guidance.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance or related fields.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding logic controllers.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with all stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain focus on tasks while working independently or as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
