EXPERIENCED Line Cook – Waterfront Fine Dining located in Kingwood
Position Overview
We are a family-owned waterfront restaurant located in Kingwood, known for elevated cuisine, genuine hospitality, and a strong team culture. We are seeking a skilled Line Cook who takes pride in their craft, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a close-knit kitchen team that values quality and consistency.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, respects classic techniques, and understands that every plate reflects our reputation.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items to our established recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock your station for smooth, efficient service
- Work with the kitchen team to keep service flowing during busy shifts
- Plate dishes with care, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Help with prep, storage, and proper rotation of ingredients
- Communicate clearly with chefs and teammates during service
- Assist with daily opening and closing duties
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience as a line cook or in a professional kitchen preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Solid knife skills and basic cooking knowledge
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Able to stay calm and focused during peak service
- Willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly in a busy kitchen
- Ability to lift, bend, and work with hot equipment
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays.
