reliable and energetic Truck Mover / Loader to join our team during the graveyard shift. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and safe movement, loading, and unloading of trucks within our warehouse environment. If you enjoy physical work, operate heavy equipment safely, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this position is perfect for you. You’ll be an integral part of our logistics operations, helping us maintain efficient shipping and receiving processes while adhering to safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to safely move trucks and trailers throughout the yard and loading areas
- Ability to lift, load, and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload trucks using appropriate materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks.
- Assist with order picking and packing to prepare shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Operate heavy equipment responsibly, following all safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Manage inventory by tracking materials with RF scanners and maintaining accurate records of shipped and received items.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock, rotating inventory, and ensuring proper storage practices.
- Follow manual handling procedures to lift, move, and position heavy or bulky items safely.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure smooth operations during shift changes and address any logistical issues promptly.
