About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team in El Paso, TX. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinical setting.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, professional, and comfortable working with patients of all ages and mobility levels. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping patients improve function, reduce pain, and work toward their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments according to the plan of care established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility, gait training, balance activities, and other treatment interventions
- Monitor patient tolerance, progress, and response to treatment
- Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in the EMR system
- Communicate patient progress, concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on exercises, safety, body mechanics, and home program instructions as directed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment
- Assist with clinic flow and patient transitions as needed
- Follow all company policies, compliance requirements, and professional standards of care
Qualifications
- Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Outpatient, orthopedic, pain management, or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Ability to work well with patients, providers, and clinic staff
Pay: $26.31 - $40.00 per hour
