Job Description:
Mr Kimchi Korean BBQ Mt. Prospect location is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will help create a welcoming dining experience by greeting customers, managing seating, answering phones, and assisting the front-of-house team as needed.
Pay:
- $15/hour during training
- $17/hour after training completion
Schedule:
- Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (1-hour break)
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (1-hour break)
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage waitlists and reservations
- Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend availability is required
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
