Join our small team as a carbon fiber production technician.
Duties
- Fabricate composite parts by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials such as carbon fiber, Kevlar and resins using hand tools and automated equipment
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to verify product specs.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot engineering issues related to manufacturing equipment and processes to optimize production flow.
- Follow safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hand skills.
- Quick learning and an ability to execute on those newly learned techniques
- Ability to perform precise measurements using tools like calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments for quality control purposes
- Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and process adjustments
- Knowledge of safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment at all times
- Strong attention to detail in assembly processes and quality inspections to meet strict specifications
