Job Title: CNC Programmer/Machinist (Full Time Day Shift)
Progressive company is seeking a highly motivated, quality minded and dependable individual with broad manufacturing capabilities. This position requires a self-starter with strong problem solving skill that can read and interpret blue prints and oversee a wide variety of CNC machining operations. This position requires strong experience and confidence in the programming, setup and operation of CNC lathes and mills. Must be able to plan the entire machining process, work with operators to resolve machining issues, develop programs which can be run with minimal operator intervention, improve existing programs for increased throughput and machine utilization.
Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years experience
· Must be very detailed and double check work to ensure correct dimensions have been programmed
· Must be progressive and keep up with the newest technologies, tooling, etc. which allow the best performance possible
· Proven CAD/CAM and G-Code programming experience
· GibbsCam experience, lathe, mill, rotary milling, 3-D milling
· Experience with macros a plus
· Must be able to solve problems with tooling and machine setups
· Adjust machining parameters as needed to achieve highest throughput possible
· Experience on Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls a plus
· Proof out new programs and conduct 1st article inspection
· Manage tooling and tool wear offsets to maintain machined dimensions within .0005”

Potential candidates must display a stable and dependable work history. Must be available to work overtime hours during the week and work an occasional Saturday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
