SD Visual Productions is seeking a highly organized, creative, and energetic Part-Time Event & Production Coordinator to support the planning and execution of events, activations, visual installations, and production projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves event logistics and creative problem-solving, and enjoys bringing experiences to life from concept through execution!
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and passionate about events, design, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and coordinating corporate, charitable, retail, and private events
- Support onsite event production, setup, breakdown, and execution
- Coordinate vendor communication, timelines, rentals, staffing, and logistics
- Help manage event schedules, production documents, run-of-show timelines, and checklists
- Assist with visual merchandising, décor installations, and styling projects
- Source materials, props, and event supplies as needed
- Communicate professionally with clients, venues, partners, and team members
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives including social media, presentations, and branded materials
- Attend site visits, production meetings, and event rehearsals when needed
- Maintain organization of inventory, supplies, and production materials
- Troubleshoot and adapt quickly during live event environments
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in event coordination, production, marketing, or related fields preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Comfortable working flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift and move event materials and décor items when needed
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Canva, and project management tools preferred
- Experience with event production, visual merchandising, or experiential marketing is a plus
- Reliable transportation required
