Position: Telehealth Physician

About the Role
We are seeking a board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician experienced in Telehealth care. In this fully remote role, you will provide high-quality telehealth services to patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to improve outcomes, support quality initiatives, and deliver exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive annual virtual health assessments via video and phone to evaluate patients' medical history, chronic conditions, medications, preventive care needs, and overall health status.

Perform one-time annual assessments focused on clinical evaluation, risk adjustment accuracy, and health documentation rather than ongoing primary care management.

Accurately document patient conditions, diagnoses, and care gaps to support quality, HCC coding, and risk adjustment initiatives.

Identify opportunities for preventive care and care coordination, referring patients back to their primary care providers or appropriate healthcare resources when indicated.

Prescribe medications on a limited, case-by-case basis in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational policies.

This role does not include management of an ongoing patient panel, routine follow-up visits, acute care treatment, or regular ordering of diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
Required Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Active, unrestricted medical licenses in Tennessee (TN) and Georgia (GA), plus at least two of the following states: MO, MS, AL, FL,TX

Willingness to obtain additional state licenses with company-sponsored licensing support.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient Family Medicine or Internal Medicine practice.

Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies, including HCC coding principles.

Familiarity with HEDIS measures and their role in quality improvement and performance measurement.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Spanish fluency preferred
Preferred Qualifications
-
2+ years of telemedicine experience.

Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license or eligibility.

Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Either 5 x 8-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts

Working hours scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM local time

No nights or weekends required.
