Fiber-Seal is seeking a hard-working, mature individual with leadership and people skills to be responsible for residential upholstery/carpet cleaning and application of protective sealant, in the Cincinnati and Indianapolis Louisville territories.
Responsibilities of the Upholstery Technician
- Protecting, Cleaning, and Spot Cleaning
- Transporting outdoor cushions and rugs utilizing a company vehicle.
- Perform related work as required.
- Travel Expected
Requirements of the Upholstery Technician
- Graduation from a standard vocational or high school and considerable experience in upholstery; or any equivalent combination of training and experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have stellar customer service skills
- Must be good with their hands and work well with hands tools
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Considerable knowledge of the practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment for upholstering
- Skilled in the selection of upholstery materials and in use and care of upholstery tools and equipment
