Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and engage with them to understand their jewelry needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos, highlighting craftsmanship and design details.
- Assist customers in selecting jewelry pieces, offering personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Handle retail sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling.
- Upsell additional products or services by identifying customer needs and promoting relevant items to increase sales.
- Maintain organized stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and managing inventory counts.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring clear communication at all times.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in jewelry or luxury goods, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to guide team members effectively.
- Strong communication skills in bilingual settings are highly valued to connect with diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash drawer handling.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to enhance customer engagement and sales performance.
