Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing to keep all flooring in top condition.
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to uphold health standards and prevent accidents or contamination.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Adhere to hotel policies on confidentiality and guest privacy while delivering outstanding custodial service.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work or hospitality environments with a strong focus on hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while following safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good physical stamina for standing long hours, bending, lifting heavy items, and performing repetitive motions.
