Position Summary
The Field Operations Manager leads and supports CGCS's field operations by developing high-performing teams, improving operational processes, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the company's uncompromising standards while partnering with company leadership to improve productivity, quality, and profitability.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop field personnel while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee daily field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to CGCS quality standards
- Support project teams by improving field productivity, communication, and coordination across multiple projects
- Review project estimates for accuracy, constructability, and profitability while supporting the estimating process as needed
- Develop and continuously improve field procedures, operational systems, and best practices
- Monitor project performance and implement solutions that improve efficiency and profitability
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to ensure compliance with company standards and safety requirements
- Mentor supervisors and field leaders while promoting professional growth and accountability
- Collaborate with company leadership on strategic planning and operational improvements
What We're Looking For
- Approximately five years of construction leadership experience leading field personnel, coordinating crews or projects, and driving accountability and performance.
- Approximately five years of project management experience with strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and successful project delivery.
- Experience reviewing project estimates for accuracy, constructability, and profitability.
- Confidence using construction management software, Microsoft 365 applications, cloud-based file management, mobile devices, and other technology to improve field operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to safety, quality, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred. CGCS will support obtaining it after hire if needed.

Starting compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the role. New leadership team members receive a formal performance and compensation review after six months.
