NON-CERTIFIED POSITION
POSITION: Paraeducator, Library Media Center
Full-time (32.50 hours per week)
LOCATION: West Stafford School
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree or equivalent, or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs duties associated with processing periodicals and books.- Maintains catalog file, overdue list, and orders supplies.
- Recommends acquisition of library materials.
- Maintains accurate inventory.
- Assists students with library skills.
- Assists students and staff with material selection. Assists students with research projects.
- Displays a positive and courteous attitude.
- Follows all Board of Education policies.
- Maintains confidentiality of student/staff/school-related information at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the building administrator(s).
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $21.15 - $22.89, commensurate with experience
