We are looking for a Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with mental health and substance abuse issues. The Behavior Technician will be responsible for providing direct support to clients, implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting data, and collaborating with other professionals. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to think critically and creatively, and have a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans according to best practices.
- Collect and analyze data to measure progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly.
- Provide positive reinforcement to clients to increase desired behaviors.
- Teach appropriate social skills and communication strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and services provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
