Job Description Summary
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our Home Health Team in Collier County. In this role, there is a real impact in the comfort of patients’ homes. As part of our compassionate, high‑performing care team, you will provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional abilities, independence, and quality of life. You will implement individualized treatment plans, educate patients and families, maintain accurate clinical documentation, collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and follow infection control and safety standards to support optimal patient outcomes.
This is a Pro Re Nata (PRN) position with variable time and hours can vary from week to week based on staffing needs, patient volume, call-offs, vacations, or organizational requirements.

How will you make an impact & Requirements

Patient Care: Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Therapeutic Interventions: Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living training, and adaptive equipment training.

Patient Education: Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.

Certification: Current and valid Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Florida.

Experience: Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience as an OTA, preferably in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab setting.

Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.

Professionalism: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.

Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
