Employment Status: Full-time, Non-exempt.
Regular Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Rotating Saturdays 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM ( 40-hour work week)

Position Summary
The Resident Relations & Leasing Specialist supports the leasing and resident services functions of the community by assisting prospective residents through the leasing process and providing excellent customer service to current residents; focusing on resident communications, renewals, and overall resident experience. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and passionate about building positive relationships within the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for current residents.
- Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to ensure resident issues are resolved.
- Foster positive resident relationships and promote resident satisfaction.
- Manage resident communications, notices, and community updates.
- Assist with resident events and engagement activities.
- Greet and qualify prospective residents.
- Conduct community and apartment tours.
- Explain lease terms, community amenities, and pricing.
- Follow up with prospects to close leases and achieve occupancy goals.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Track lease expirations and conduct renewal outreach.
- Maintain accurate resident files and records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and applicable laws.
- Collect and process deposits and other required leasing documentation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in multifamily housing, leasing, property management, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing practices
