Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Preschool Teachers to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and creative activities to stimulate early childhood development.
- Facilitate classroom activities that promote social skills, behavior management, and positive interactions among children.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR protocols.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings or written updates.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, share best practices, and ensure consistency in teaching strategies across classrooms.
- Stay informed about mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements at all times.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development, and preschool teaching methodologies.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork with colleagues.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of health & safety standards applicable to childcare environments.
- Experience teaching physical education or integrating movement activities into daily routines is a plus.
- Private school experience or background in childhood welfare is advantageous but not required.
