Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Avir at Webster in Webster, TX. As a CNA at Avir at Webster, you will provide non-professional direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, and assist in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for our residents. Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and positioning
Provide certified nursing assistant care and support, including reading and following daily care plans, performing assigned restorative and rehabilitative procedures, and documenting care provision on resident records
Ensure a safe, sanitary, and infection-free environment by understanding and following safety, sanitation, and infection control policies and procedures
Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and government regulators by presenting a professional appearance and attitude
Participate in training, educational activities, and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on new policies and procedures
Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, as well as other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be a Certified Nursing Aide in good standing with the State or must be able to complete state required training and a competency evaluation program within four (4) months of employment
Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families, and to work cooperatively with other associates
Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance and performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation
